Thebe Neruda Kgositsile (born February 24th, 1994), ​better known as his stage name Earl Sweatshirt, is an American rapper and member of hip hop collective, OFWGKTA. He is also signed to his own record label, Tan Cressida and Columbia Records.

Music CareerEdit

Thebe started rapping at the age of 14, and recorded his first album, EARL. He was in a group with Tyler, the Creator called EarlWolf. In late 2010. Thebe's mother sent him to a therapeutic retreat school in Samoa due to bad behavior and drugs.. Tyler was originally going to put Earl on a Goblin song and the song "Window" was originally made for him. Tyler also started a campaign called "Free Earl". On February 8th, 2012, Earl was released from the school and rejoined with Odd Future. His first reveal song was "Home" which was released if he got 50,000 followers on Twitter. He was featured on the song "Oldie" on the OF Tape Vol. 2. After the long absence from Odd Future, he preformed with the group at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York, on March 20th, 2012.
